It was started in style with drinks and dinner at the elegant Cecconi’s Nomad, finishing on the rooftop bar for a nightcap. At the Summit we re-looked at the five energy trends identified in 2019: how are those trends tracking, what did we miss, and what are the five key energy transition trends now? We heard what was happening in each of our regions from women at the forefront of the transition in Europe, Australia and the United States. The day was finished with a behind-the-scenes sustainability tour of the Empire State Building, where we heard from the US Secretary of Energy, Jennifer Granholm. That evening the Empire State Building was lit up the colors of the Hawthorn Club in honor of women in energy all around the world.
