Kate Brandt

Kate Brandt leads sustainability across Google’s worldwide operations and products. Previously Kate served as President Obama and the Nation’s first Chief Sustainability Officer. In this capacity, she was responsible for promoting sustainability across Federal Government operations including 360,000 buildings, 650,000 vehicles, and $445 billion annually in purchased goods and services. Prior to her appointment, Kate served as a Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy in the Office of the Under Secretary for Science and Energy where she played a key role in establishing the office and executing the President’s Climate Action Plan.

Jennifer Didlo

Jennifer DidloPresident, AES Southland, AES Hawaii
Jennifer Didlo’s appointment as President of AES Southland is the culmination of over 20 years of operational leadership experience in power generation, including 15 years in Southern California. In addition to her current responsibilities as President, she will now oversee wind assets in Palm Springs, Tehachapi, Oregon, and Wyoming. For the past three years, she has led the business development effort for the AES Southland redevelopment projects, directing the engineering design, environmental and regulatory approvals and commercial plan for AES Alamitos, AES Redondo Beach and AES Huntington Beach.

Nancy McFadden

Nancy McFadden currently serves as Executive Secretary for Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. Throughout her career, McFadden has served as a key legal, political, and policy official at both the federal and state levels, as well as the private sector. McFadden was a Senior Vice President for Pacific Gas and Electric Corporation. Prior to her role with PG&E, she was a Senior Advisor to Governor Gray Davis focusing primarily on energy and budget matters. A high-ranking member of the Clinton Administration for eight years, McFadden served as Deputy Chief of Staff to Vice President Al Gore, General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Transportation and Deputy Associate Attorney General for the U.S. Department of Justice. A Bay Area native, McFadden holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia and a B.A. from San Jose State University.

Mary Nichols

Mary NicholsChairman, California Air Resources Board
Nichols has devoted her entire career in public and nonprofit service to advocating for the environment and public health. In addition to her work at the Air Board, she has served as Assistant Administrator for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Air and Radiation program under President Clinton, Secretary for California’s Resources Agency from 1999 to 2003 and Director of the Institute of the Environment at the University of California, Los Angeles.

 

Heather Redman

Heather RedmanDirector, Summit Power Group
Heather Redman has more than two decades of experience in the areas of business development, corporate development and structuring, strategy, operations, M&A, corporate and project finance, product acquisition, intellectual property, licensing and tax. She has handled many corporate transactions including successful exits, financings and joint ventures for her companies. Her experience ranges from management positions in consumer products companies to B2B companies serving Fortune 500 customers. Heather is a principal shareholder and a director and member of the Compensation Committee of Summit Power Group. She is also VP Business Operations and General Counsel at Indix Corporation. She is an active angel and venture capital investor and advisor and a member of the Alliance of Angels and Element 8.
